The best way to understand the meaning of management is by taking an everyday example. Suppose you have an exam next week, consisting of five subjects. Now, you have seven days to prepare for this exam. The most effective way to study would be to make a plan, decide what to study on which day and for how much time. You would also have to decide if you need your friend’s help in studying, and if so, then the amount of time you could spend with her.

This is where the need for management arises. In organizations, you will know what the is and you have to that.
