A strength is a positive characteristic or skill. It may include knowledge, attributes, skills, or talents.

The opposite is true for weaknesses. A ‘weakness’ refers to an individual’s negative traits or abilities. Our disadvantages include blind spots, underdeveloped skills, or personal behaviours. The evaluation of strengths and weaknesses can be helpful when deciding whether to choose a scholarship, a program that has been offered.
