Use special finishing carefully.

The card must have a unique finish related to the brand you work for or deal with. It also acts as a trademark in a situation of exchange. Hence choosing a colour that goes with the outline of the colour used in the business. If the relevance to the brand is not present, the card might be remembered as black, glossy, dark and monotonous, especially by people who use business cards for note-taking.
