Who is an investment banker?
An investment banker is an individual who works for a financial institution that helps companies, governments, and agencies raise money. This may mean that the investment banker may raise this money by issuing a stock or a bond or helping with an acquisition or a sale. An investment banker offers its clients merger and acquisition advice. Some famous investment banker employers are Goldman Sachs, Morgan Stanley, JPMorgan Chase and Deutsche Bank.
