When it comes to business writing, being clear is important. Too often, business people use flowery language to show that they are smart, but this makes their writing sound awkward and forced. Keep your sentences short and declarative, and cut out words where you can, like in the middle of sentences. If you don’t need to use a lot of fancy words, don’t use them.
